All of our servers are constructed using a 7 step process. | 1. | We evaluate the server's purpose. | | 2. | Identify the required hardware and software (This is done by weighing advantages and disadvantages of the server's needs based on its purpose. Taking into consideration: Speed, Security, Stability, and Scalability.) | | 3. | Construct the server in house using high quality components. | | 4. | Install all software and perform all necessary configurations, to the degree where it's ready for production. | | 5. | Run it through rigorous offline and online testing to ensure it's running at peak performance. | | 6. | Once it's running at peak performance we format the hard drives and perform step 4 and 5 again. | | 7. | Finally, if all is running at peak performance we put the server into production. | Throughout the process, detailed notes are kept. Production is a term we use when equipment is connected to our network and accessible.
