Bandwidth Monitoring
Monthly bandwidth is tracked with our dedicated LFAP (Lightweight Flow Accounting Protocol) server. This system rivals to be the most accurate system available. Unlike many systems that use averages and timed samples, our system keeps track of actual traffic transferred, ensuring it records with a dedicated TCP link. You will not be charged for inaccurate bandwidth measurements nor data not actually transferred. We also keep track of bandwidth through the old 'sample' method and directly from our layer 3 switches. This ensures a secondary and tertiary look in case something goes amiss.
Service Monitoring
Monitoring of servers and applications are continually preformed to catch anything irregular. In the occurrence of an irregular event, InterSpots employees are notified via pager and telephone enabling us to respond immediately. More specifically, monitoring of server applications are configured to notify different individuals responsible for the application if certain operations are not acting properly. This real-time monitoring ensures a fast recovery in the event of any unforeseen problems.
