Normally if the user is experienced with programming, installing applications and server configuration, an unmanaged service is most economical.  Through server administration software, advanced users can access the server remotely tailoring it to their specific security levels and needs.  However, it must be emphasized that an unmanaged web server is best suited for those who have great technical expertise in administrating servers.
